Support the Loss Prevention Coordinator in file management and problem resolution in the InPost Spain Security Department. This includes maintaining updated records, investigating and resolving incidents related to lost parcels, coordinating internal communication, collecting data and performance metrics, managing resources, and participating in operational improvement projects.

He / she will be a member of the Security Department within the Loss Prevention Area, supporting all investigations at the national level, making use of video surveillance systems, and analyzing possible incidents in all agencies in Spain.

What responsibilities and objectives will you have?

  • Loss exposure and loss controls analysis,
  • Loss investigation, and when necessary, theft investigation,
  • Physical security systems and controls,
  • Control of CCTV and intrusion systems in depots,
  • Supervision of access control operations and analysis of incidents against the installations, people, and parcels,
  • Loss prevention education and awareness,
  • Thorough loss prevention audit programs,
  • Ability to identify problems, collect information, and offer strategic solutions,
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing programs and strategies to address physical security in the logistics industry,
  • A strong knowledge of the law to ensure investigations are not derailed because of legal mistakes. Experienced with court proceedings and knowledge of Spanish Private Security legal scope,
  • Coordinates with Operations, Transportation, Customer Service, and other areas to minimize loss exposure and maximize asset protection and control,
  • Implements and evaluates security systems including depot / facility security,
  • Gathers information and data from all forms of criminal activity to be categorized and analyzed, helping to build a database for use in future investigations,
  • Executes internet security and social media investigations.

Well, what will the requirements be?

  • 1-2 years in a similar position; or previous experience in CCTV teams as a Security Officer.
  • Degree in Criminology, Security Science, Law, or similar.
  • Industry recognized qualifications (Certified Safety & Security training, Wicklander-Zulawski, CPP, APP, TAPA, Logistic / Retail Loss Prevention studies, Criminology, Private Investigator, Security Management, Police or Military training). Almost one.
  • Any Spanish Private Security license will be a plus.
  • Relevant experience in the loss prevention or physical security industry.
  • Data analysis experience, and demonstrate the ability to gather data from different sources.
  • Fluent in English & Spanish. French will be considered.
  • Basic data management software such as Excel, and advanced software such as Power BI or similar.
  • Experience in management of Security Systems such as Access Control and CCTV (HikCentral, Milestone, SmartPSS, Desico, and similar).
