WHAT TO EXPECT :

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a strong backend foundation and a startup mindset to join our fast-growing Growth & Insights team. You will support and evolve two SaaS platforms : ASAI and Press Play. This role involves shaping product maturity, scaling features, and reducing incidents, while maintaining creativity and autonomy.

WHAT YOU'LL DO :

  • Resolve live incidents and manage stakeholder requests, especially data-related issues impacting analysts and clients.
  • Build new features and improve existing ones on ASAI and Press Play, moving towards greater autonomy and self-service.
  • Reduce technical debt and enhance system reliability through pragmatic engineering.
  • Balance reactive work (bug fixes, support) with proactive development (features, architecture).
  • Work with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, BigQuery) ensuring performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with engineers, analysts, product managers, and team leads.
  • Maintain a healthy DevOps pipeline on GCP, overseeing incident response, app stability, and API performance.
  • Contribute to team practices like testing, documentation, and coding standards, with a sense of ownership.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED :

  • 6+ years in backend or full-stack development, preferably in fast-paced or startup environments.
  • Experience with AI coding tools like Copilot, Cursor, or Windsurf.
  • Strong skills in Python (FastAPI, Pydantic, async, Airflow).
  • Knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript and React.
  • Comfort with Google Cloud Platform.
  • Deep experience with database design and management (MySQL / PostgreSQL, BigQuery).
  • Proficiency in API design, CI / CD, Docker, and automated testing.
  • Strong debugging skills and a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Ownership, independence, and ability to navigate ambiguity.
