Offshore Wind Operations Specialist

We are seeking a proactive and analytical professional to join our offshore wind team as an OPEX Operations Engineer. Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all O&M-related activities as part of offshore wind farm development, tender and M&A processes, Opex calculations, cost book and supporting definition of O&M strategy and implementation of contracts in collaboration with other technical, commercial, legal and business areas.

Main Accountabilities

• Establishing the OPEX costs (OW OPEX digital tool) for each project within O&M. Responsible of providing OPEX figures in collaboration with Procurement for financial modelling,
• Accountable of providing required O&M inputs and documentation for tenders and bids, including risk assessment and risk mitigation measures
• Establishing O&M requirements, implement and oversee a multi-contracting strategy for this purpose, develop SMA responsibility Matrixs,
• Accountable of providing relevant O&M inputs to other areas, such Business Development, WTG, Substructures, Transport & Installation, Energy Assessment, etc., ensuring O&M interfaces with other packages and stakeholders are appropriately managed
• Support on the definition of the O&M strategy for the project, including set up of ports, offshore access strategy, labor, etc., Run different and selected O&M strategies using the corporate digital tools and argue the results with determination.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Naval Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent). Experience in wind or other renewable energies will be valued.

Demonstrable knowledge in the following areas is required :

The candidate should also have excellent communication skills, ability to engage and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of business, and proficiency in Microsoft 365 Software Packages.
