The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Engineer to join our Digital Workplace team. As a Senior IT Technical Consultant in the Digital Workplace Collaboration & Productivity Section, part of the Site Experience & Digital Workplace Chapter of Roche Informatics, you will join a team of experts in technology working to provide the tools and technologies that are connecting more than 150,000 users, enabling them to work and collaborate efficiently.

In collaboration with local and global Business Partners and Stakeholders, you will provide technical consultancy to clients and affiliates across all divisions and locations at Roche, delivering solutions to our Digital Workplace with state-of-the-art technology in a modern and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background, a passion for enhancing the employee digital experience, and a certification as a Google Administrator. This role will be pivotal in designing, implementing, and managing digital solutions that support our dynamic workforce.

Responsibilities

As day-to-day responsibilities you will :

• Lead the design, implementation, and support of our Digital Workplace solutions using Google Workspace and other modern digital technologies.
• Act as a subject matter expert for digital workplace technologies, providing guidance, technical consultancy, and support to users and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure seamless integration of digital tools and platforms to enhance productivity and collaboration in partnership with other IT areas.
• Manage and optimize Google Workspace environments, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability.
• Proactively identify and address potential issues, implementing preventative measures to maintain system integrity.
• Leverage Artificial Intelligence to enhance digital workplace solutions and improve user experience.
• Utilize AI technologies to analyze data and provide actionable insights for optimizing workplace performance.
• Explore and integrate AI capabilities in collaboration tools to enhance communication and productivity.
