(UUV-754) - Frontend Lead Engineer – Convert (Hybrid)

We're seeking an experienced Lead Engineer to join our Convert Team in Barcelona or Madrid (hybrid) to lead a team of 7-10 experienced software engineers in the Website Conversion Domain, focused on designing and delivering the best travel booking experience. Our teams in the Conversion Domain are at the heart of what the customer experiences when searching and booking their travel on our ecommerce platform. You will be part of a very close-knit community of 100+ talented and experienced engineers, all passionate about delivering the best travel booking experience and helping each other grow.

We believe in full end-to-end ownership of results and empower our teams to drive their own decisions for the benefit of the customer and our business, iterating fast to continuously learn and improve. We work side by side with our own Agile Coaches and Product Owners to follow the best practices of the Agile Methodologies.

What you will do : The Role's Key Responsibilities and Tasks

• Leading the technical delivery of a critical product at eDreams.
• Working with a top-notch tech stack including Java 17, React, BigData (Kafka, Cassandra, BigTable, Redis, Neo4j), machine learning models, Datamesh, Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud, Sonarqube, and Datadog.
• Collaborating with Product, Business, Architecture, and Data Science to shape the technical strategy and evolution of the Payments domain.
• Defining the technical strategy for your modules and ensuring their optimal performance.
• Helping your team translate functional specifications into high-performance logical technical design and code.
• Splitting the work into smaller tasks that add quick value to customers.
