Job Description

As the AR Team Leader for the Food Division across the diverse EMEA region, you'll be overseeing the financial rhythm of invoicing and revenue management. Collaborating closely with controllers and the Credit Department, you'll ensure transactions are efficient and accurate. Your expertise will be crucial in providing support to regional Finance Managers and maintaining excellence in AR operations.

Here's a sneak peek into some of what you will be doing :

  • Supervise, organize, and manage EMEA AR operations for Account Receivables within the Shared Service Centre.
  • Ensure the generation and issuance of accurate, timely invoices to customers while proactively resolving discrepancies.
  • Oversee recording, reconciliation of customer payments, and efficiently resolve payment-related issues.
  • Lead reconciliation of AR ledger, investigate and resolve discrepancies, providing guidance to the team.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of VAT principles within AR responsibilities.
  • Maintain positive customer relationships, promptly address inquiries, and handle billing concerns.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities, act as AR expert in projects, and provide leadership and development for the AR team. Additionally, provide audit support and serve as a backup / support for the Finance Manager.

Qualifications

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 3-5 years in accounts receivable accounting, preferably within the industrial sector.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a collaborative team of high-quality professionals, with excellent people management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
  • Proficiency in local GAAP, IFRS, and managing complex AR processes. Accurate and analytical mindset with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel, and a process-oriented approach to tasks.
  • Excellent command of English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
