What are we looking for?

SAP ABAP Technical Consultant - Seville, Spain

Responsibilities :

  • Carry out ABAP developments of specific applications, interfaces (IDOC, RFC, OSE middleware) in compliance with existing development standards, using a set of tools set up for version tracking (SAP Solution Manager, GoJIRA, Go Confluence, SharePoint, GITLAB, Code analyzer) and production release management (SAP Solution Manager / Charm)
  • Drafting of unit test scenarios and execution of unit tests with execution reports
  • Drafting of development documentation
  • Analysis and search for solutions to application runtime anomalies
  • Participation in the costing of upgrades and corrections
  • Performance testing
  • Analysis and implementation of OSS Notes
  • Creation and follow-up of incidents with SAP
  • Code review
  • Collaboration with SAP functional and technical teams, as well as with infrastructure teams.

Requirements :

  • Experience required : 5 to 10 years' experience in ABAP development.
  • Languages : Basic French + English or Spanish.
  • Strong ABAP development skills, including Reports, ALV, BAPI, BADI, Enhancements, and Interfaces (IDoc / RFC / Web Services).
  • Experience in SAPUI5 application development.
  • Expertise in object-oriented ABAP (ABAP OO).
  • Experience with SAP Web IDE or SAP Business Application Studio.
  • Familiarity with best practices in version control (Git) and deployment in SAP environments.
  • Understanding of one or more SAP functional modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, etc.).
  • Ability to understand and translate business processes into technical solutions.
