Job Description

Are you a talented Structural Engineer looking to make a significant impact in the field of building and industrial construction? Join our dynamic international team of Structural Engineers and contribute to exciting projects that challenge and inspire! You will be based in our beautiful office in Madrid, really well located in the city center, with public transport one minute walking.

Your Tasks :

  • Preparing verifiable structural calculations for steel and reinforced concrete structures; timber construction experience is an advantage.
  • Supporting the design implementation of structural solutions.
  • Conducting variant studies to determine optimal and economical load-bearing structures.
  • Developing concepts for structural designs, considering other disciplines such as fire protection, HVAC, civil engineering, and architecture.
  • Coordinating with colleagues from other disciplines as part of integrated planning.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background : Hold a Master's or Diploma degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
  • Experience : Bring at least 3 years of hands-on experience in structural calculations for building and industrial construction projects. Your passion for the entire project lifecycle is essential.
  • Some travel to Germany could be required, we will give more details during the interview process.
  • Creativity and Enthusiasm : Thrive in interdisciplinary project work and coordination, bringing innovative solutions to the table.
  • Technical Expertise : Demonstrate cross-material expertise and a strong grasp of construction and design standards.
  • Work Style : Exhibit an independent, goal-oriented approach with a focus on solutions. Your strong communication skills, teamwork, and advisory competence will be highly valued.
  • Software Proficiency : Show proficiency in industry-standard software tools, ideally including MB AEC, RFEM Dlubal, and REVIT.
  • Language Skills : Possess good to excellent proficiency in both German and English.
