We are now expanding our Japanese localization network and looking for linguists with native-level Japanese proficiency and proven experience in video game localization to collaborate on upcoming projects.
Open Roles
- Translate and adapt in-game content from English or Spanish into Japanese.
- Maintain consistency with terminology, style guides, and tone of voice.
- Handle placeholders, variables, and in-game references accurately.
- Review and refine translations for accuracy, fluency, and tone.
- Ensure consistency with terminology and localization guidelines.
- Collaborate with translators and project managers to maintain high linguistic standards.
3. LQA Tester (JP)
Test localized builds in Japanese to identify linguistic or functional issues.Report bugs and inconsistencies using standard testing tools.Work closely with localization and QA teams to ensure a polished final release.Requirements
Native-level proficiency in Japanese.Minimum 2 years of proven experience in video game localization (translation, review, or LQA).Strong understanding of gaming culture, terminology, and style adaptation.For LQA testers : experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Mantis, TestRail).C1 level of English (CEFR) or higher for communication and source text understanding.Ability to handle tight deadlines while maintaining high quality.What We Value
