Fund Accounting Manager

Our client is a leader in accounting, administration and transfer agency services for investment funds.

As a Private Equity Manager you will be responsible for leading the relationship of a portfolio of private equity clients, responsible for reviewing client NAVs.

You will work with close-ended funds specializing in private equity, private debt, real estate and venture capital.

Salary : Starts at €42,000

Responsibilities :

• Management of a portfolio of client relationships
• Reviews and approves net asset valuations, capital activity, general ledger, cash reconciliations, income, and expenses.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Manages year-end audits and tax reporting with clients and auditors, ensuring timely completion of fieldwork.
• Reviews financial statements and distribution waterfall calculations.
• Identifies and implements solutions to enhance processes, communication, efficiency, and workflows.
• Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Compliance, Investor Services) to align processes with client needs.
• Provide clients with technical accounting and industry knowledge.

Minimum Qualifications :

• At least 3 years of experience in the fund industry.
• At least 2 years experience in managing client relationships, deliverables and communication.
• In-depth knowledge of closed ended funds required.
• Strong knowledge of accounting concepts
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Prior experience with PFS-Paxus is desired, but not required
• Accounting designation desired, but not required
