Job Description :

We are working alongside our client in the renewable energy sector, based in Spain, to hire a Wind Solutions Manager.

Our client is a world-leading green technology company specialising in renewable energy generation and storage. Operating across multiple regions, the business develops integrated solutions spanning wind turbine technology, energy storage, and green hydrogen. With an established global R&D presence and a growing European footprint, the company is driving innovation to accelerate the global energy transition.

The Role

As Wind Solutions Manager , you will play a central role in shaping the next generation of wind technology solutions. You’ll define product portfolios and features based on market and customer requirements, guide technical development, and collaborate closely with commercial and engineering teams to deliver competitive, site-optimised wind solutions. This is a strategic position with influence across product development, sales strategy, and technical execution.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse global and regional wind markets, identifying trends in policy, technology, and customer requirements.
Define wind turbine product portfolios and features aligned to market demand and business strategy.
Lead or co-lead wind turbine product development as chief system engineer.
Work with technical project teams to define site-specific turbine solutions — including layouts, models, and performance analysis.
Collaborate with sales, commercial, and technical teams to shape bidding and pricing strategies.
Lead technical discussions and workshops with customers at system level.
Drive resolution of complex field or technical issues in collaboration with engineering and service teams.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Control Engineering (or related discipline).

Minimum 4 years’ experience in the global wind industry , preferably with exposure to offshore wind turbine development and management .

Strong understanding of European offshore wind requirements, including due diligence, bidding, and delivery processes.

In-depth technical knowledge of wind turbine systems and wind farm design.

Excellent communication and networking skills, with the ability to collaborate across international teams.

Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

Fluent in English , both written and spoken.

Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 30% of the time).
