About The Role

Refinery89 is looking for a Junior Technical Account Manager to join our growing team in Madrid. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone with basic front-end knowledge and strong communication skills who wants to grow in the AdTech space. You’ll support our publishers by helping troubleshoot ad-related issues and assisting with implementation tasks — no coding required. You don’t need to be a developer. You’ll need a working knowledge of CSS and HTML , and a basic understanding of JavaScript . Everything else — including tools like Google Ad Manager , Prebid , and browser debugging — will be taught on the job as part of your structured onboarding.

What You'll Do

Act as the first line of support for our publishers on layout and ad-related issues.
Use browser tools to identify display or placement issues (e.g., with CSS or HTML structure).
Support the team in implementing ad tags and creative placements across publisher websites.
Collaborate with Business Development and Product teams to ensure successful onboarding and integration.
Help translate client issues into internal tickets and track resolution.
Learn to work with platforms like Google Ad Manager (GAM), Prebid, and other AdTech tools.

What You Bring

Basic hands-on knowledge of CSS and HTML (must-have); able to inspect or lightly modify front-end code.

Familiarity with JavaScript concepts (you’re not expected to code).

Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn technical tools.

Fluent in English (B2+) and one additional European language is required (German or Portuguese).

Good communicator, organized, and comfortable working with cross-functional teams.

Based in Madrid and available to work on-site, with flexibility for 24 remote workdays per year.
