As a DevOps Engineer you will play a crucial role in enhancing our development and deployment processes ensuring the reliability and scalability of our applications.

Tasks

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable and reliable DevOps solutions.
  • Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters.
  • Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines to automate workflows.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Ensure security best practices are followed in all DevOps processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Oversee the integration of Prometheus for monitoring and alerting.
  • Provide expertise in Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous delivery.
  • Utilize GITHUB for version control and collaboration.
  • Implement and manage Apigee API Management for secure and scalable API solutions.
  • Apply DevOps tools and concepts to streamline development and operations processes.
  • Incorporate DevSecOps practices to ensure security throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Manage and optimize AWS Platform resources for cost-effective and efficient operations.
  • Deploy and manage Docker containers for application deployment.
  • Set up and maintain Container Registry for secure and reliable image storage.
  • Configure and manage API Gateway for secure and scalable API access.
  • Set up and manage container environments to ensure consistency and reliability.
  • Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
  • Utilize AWS DevOps tools to enhance development and deployment processes.
  • Implement Terraform for infrastructure as code and automated provisioning.
  • Conduct OMICS Data Analysis to derive meaningful insights from biological data.
  • Develop OMICS Pipelines to streamline data processing and analysis workflows.
  • Communicate effectively in Spanish and English to collaborate with global teams.

Requirements

  • Have in-depth knowledge of DevOps Concepts DevSecOps AWS Platform Docker and Container Registry.
  • Possess strong expertise in Prometheus Jenkins GITHUB Apigee API Management and DevOps Tools.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in API Gateway Container environment set-up DevOps and Automation.
  • Show experience in AWS DevOps and Terraform for infrastructure management.
  • Have a solid background in OMICS Data Analysis and OMICS Pipeline development.
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Strong experience with AWS services and infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with CI / CD tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI or CircleCI.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Python Bash or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (e.g. Terraform CloudFormation).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana ELK stack).
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
  • Be fluent in Spanish and proficient in English for effective communication.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Display excellent collaboration and teamwork abilities.
  • Maintain a proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Show attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Exhibit the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Certification in AWS or Kubernetes is a plus.
