We're looking for a dynamic Performance Marketing Manager to drive user acquisition and transform how millions of people discover destinations worldwide. About VoiceMap

VoiceMap is a global leader in the burgeoning market for self-guided audio tours with walks, cycles, drives and boat trips in over 65 countries. Our tours are produced using Mapmaker, our collaborative CMS, which takes the guesswork out of producing a tour. Our tours have over 50,000 five star reviews, and we plan to offer ten times as many of them – along with a number of related products – all with a focus on giving people easy, engaging ways to see the world around them from new, surprising, and sometimes challenging perspectives.

Work Arrangements

Ideally, this is a hybrid position, with two to three days a week at our offices in Valencia, Spain, or Cape Town, South Africa. But exceptional candidates will be considered for fully remote positions as long as working hours align with Central European Time.

The Role

You'll be a key player in VoiceMap's growth, operating at the intersection of travel, technology, and storytelling. You'll work directly with our founder and product team to execute and optimize our acquisition strategy across paid channels. While you'll start with our established playbook focusing on proven channels like shortform video and social media, you'll have opportunities to test new approaches and take on more strategic responsibilities as you demonstrate success. You'll also collaborate with our community of nearly 1,000 publishers - professional storytellers, tour operators, and local experts - who can provide content and insights to support your campaigns.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Design and execute performance marketing campaigns that drive user acquisition across paid social, search, and app install networks
  • Own our creative strategy for paid channels, with particular focus on shortform video content that resonates with travelers
  • Optimize campaign performance through continuous A / B testing and data-driven decision making
  • Scale successful channels while maintaining efficient CAC and hitting ROAS targets
  • Build and refine marketing funnels from first touch to conversion
  • Collaborate with our global network of storytellers to source authentic content for campaigns
  • Drive ASO strategy to enhance organic acquisition

What You'll Need

  • 3+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience with proven track record of scaling user acquisition
  • Deep expertise in paid social campaigns, especially video-first platforms
  • Experience managing substantial monthly ad spend across multiple channels
  • Data-driven approach with strong understanding of key metrics (CAC, LTV, ROAS)
  • Creative mindset with experience in ad content development
  • Ability to work autonomously and move fast in a startup environment
  • Travel industry experience is a plus
  • Fluency in English required, additional languages are a plus
