Job Description

An opportunity for a Logistic Operational Specialist has arisen within Airbus Operations, Cádiz.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
• Design and implementation of the optimized distribution solutions.
• Support AOS maturity development by providing inputs.
• Coordinate & monitor Logistics activities.
• Attend logistics SQCDP meetings.
• Escalate issues impacting Logistics and / or Production activities.
• Collect new needs from other functions and inform Production about logistics impacts.
• Understand and analyze KPIs to anticipate issues and improve distribution flow from HUB to Point of Use.
• Adapt distribution solutions and ensure data management - adaptations at defined level and manage physical & information flows.
• Ensure maintenance & creation of logistics data, flow cartography and inform impacted functions.
• Provide advice and assistance to shop floor on physical flows issues.
• Create work specifications in case of new activities and follow them.
• Manage & prevent logistics disruptions – curative, corrective, preventive actions.
• Perform or contribute to Practical Problem solving (PPS).
• Perform first‑level IT maintenance by following troubleshooting procedures and maintaining regular contact with support team.
• Manage logistics means – appropriate use and monitor inventory of specific logistics means.
• Contribute to design and maintain specific logistics means.
• Manage specific & standard logistics means loop for internal & external perimeter.
• Monitor, analyze performance of distribution solutions (Physical Flow vs IT Flow) and define action plan using different IT tools.
