Business Developer – Green Hydrogen & PtX Projects

We are looking for a proactive and motivated Business Developer to support the origination and coordination of Green Hydrogen and PtX projects across Europe. The ideal candidate combines a solid technical and commercial background with hands‑on experience in renewable project development and a good understanding of hydrogen and PtX markets.

You will :
- Conduct in‑depth market research on the global green hydrogen and PtX sector, analysing policies, regulations, technologies, and competitors to support precise market development strategies. Originate and develop green hydrogen and PtX projects from early‑stage to financial close, assessing feasibility, permitting, and partnerships.
- Identify and support M&A and investment opportunities across hydrogen, ammonia, methanol, and related sectors.
- Coordinate partnership and joint development negotiations, including MoUs and strategic agreements.
- Verify project feasibility studies and engineering reports, manage permitting processes, and monitor project milestones to ensure progress is achieved with qualified results and appropriate risk mitigation measures. Build strong relationships with government bodies, offtakers, EPCs, and technology partners to foster policy support and collaboration.
- Coordinate with internal technical, legal, and financial teams to structure competitive and bankable project proposals.
- Coordinate to prepare and deliver professional presentations, investment teasers, and proposals to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Energy, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering process, or related field.3+ years of experience in renewable energy project development (greenfield or M&A); experience in green hydrogen or PtX is a strong plus.Solid technical understanding of green energy and PtX technologies, regulatory frameworks, and applications.Background in a developer, IPP, or integrated energy company.Strong analytical, commercial, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively across multicultural environments.Proven project management capabilities and experience coordinating cross‑functional teams.Fluent in English and Spanish; other European languages are an advantage.Seniority level
