Company Overview :

A growing and innovative Contract Research Organization (CRO) with a strong presence in Europe and Asia is looking for a motivated Legal Counsel. Specializing in bioanalytical and CMC analytical services, the company operates laboratories certified to the highest standards, including GMP, GLP, and GCP compliance.

Role Overview :

This is an exciting opportunity for a junior legal professional with a strong interest in the pharmaceutical or biotech sectors. The role involves supporting legal and compliance functions, working on contracts, and ensuring the organization meets regulatory and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Support the Compliance Officer with ensuring alignment with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Assist with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of business contracts, including NDAs, MSAs, and supplier agreements.
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel and internal departments to support business operations.
  • Ensure adherence to data protection regulations, including GDPR, and support data privacy initiatives.
  • Help prepare corporate documents such as minutes, resolutions, and powers of attorney.
  • Support the management of insurance policies to mitigate operational risks.
  • Assist HR with labor law compliance and workplace relations.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and provide guidance on compliance and contract matters.

Qualifications :

  • Licensed to practice law or equivalent legal qualification.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a legal role, ideally within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or related industries.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and basic contract law principles.
  • Familiarity with EMA or FDA regulations is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams.
  • Proficiency in English, with drafting and negotiation experience preferred.
