We are seeking a dedicated, motivated, and reliable Senior Golang Engineer interested in providing innovative software solutions for our clients. Join our team as we deliver high-quality products and services. The Senior Go Engineer will build backend services in Go on EKS, including some Lambdas. The project focuses on providing product data and managing the product lifecycle. Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions using Go and related technologies.
  • Make technically sound decisions and uphold high standards of coding and architecture best practices.
  • Create and maintain software documentation, including technical specifications and design documents.
  • Enhance team performance through mentoring, code reviews, and process improvements within the SDLC.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate within a cross-functional team to transform requirements into actionable tasks.
  • Communicate progress and status updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of professional software development experience.
  • Proficiency in Go (Golang), including syntax, semantics, database connectivity, and object-oriented concepts.
  • Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience with Go frameworks such as Gin, Revel, Echo, Beego, etc.
  • Solid understanding of web services (HTTP, SOAP, REST, GQL, etc.).
  • Experience with relational databases.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality, tested software on time.
  • Open-mindedness and patience to explain technical issues constructively.
  • Strong communication skills, with at least intermediate English proficiency.
  • Experience working in distributed, cross-functional teams.

    • Nice to Have

  • Kubernetes or EKS experience.
  • Experience with Shopify.
  • Knowledge of DynamoDB.
