Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager - EMEA
Job Summary
The EHS Manager - EMEA role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies. This individual will drive a proactive safety culture, support operational teams, and work closely with stakeholders to minimize risks and enhance sustainability across manufacturing and project sites.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Regional business process owner for Supplier Quality :
- Create and execute a plan to transition from supplier inspection to the production part approval process (PPAP).
- Create and execute a plan to incorporate the Array Approved Vendor List & related supplier onboarding procedures for Spain.
- Refine & execute a plan to validate suppliers for H250 v7 solar tracker; collaborate with Supplier Quality Engineers to qualify suppliers.
- Report to VP, Quality and AOS; ensure alignment with global processes and controls.
- Improve & integrate global procedures to improve Supplier Quality performance and competence.
- Regional business process owner for ISO9001 (QMS) & ISO14001 (EMS) :
- Lead Array Spain in retaining ISO certifications for ISO9001 & ISO14001.
- Ensure ISO procedures, processes, templates, and evidence are updated and available to all staff.
- Manage internal and external quality audits; collaborate with Business Development / Sales for customer audits.
- Develop training and awareness plans for ISO requirements.
- Report to VP, Quality and AOS; ensure alignment with global Array Operating System requirements.
- Implement procedures to control and audit ISO processes and systems.
- Act as a trusted partner and senior leader at Array Spain :
- Promote a Quality culture within the Organization and support for continual improvement.
- Provide advice and information to other departments and members of the company.
- Establish objectives and action plans to achieve results.
- Prepare reports on performance and present them to stakeholders.
- Prepare the budget; monitor and control the budget.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in safety or similar.8+ years of experience in HSE management both in manufacturing as well as construction.Strong interpersonal skills, able to motivate and inspire others.Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and requirements; actual demonstrable applicable experience in these area(s) strongly preferred.Fluent in English as well as local language.4+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite.4+ years of problem-solving experience with respect to process issues identified and Safety impacts.Self-motivated, driven, and positive attitude.J-18808-Ljbffr
