JOB SUMMARY

The Corporate Tech Support Specialist forms a part of the team of engineers that are focused on Systems related technologies , within the wider Corporate Systems team. The role involves driving the implementation, operation and improvement of the systems tech stack and practices, including compute, storage, identity and security, focusing on our corporate systems reliability, scalability, and efficiency. You will collaborate closely with the rest of the Technology, Corporate and Platform teams to align on and drive the Corporate IT compute system. The ultimate goal is to build and run a reliable, scalable, and secure set of compute capabilities in HBX Group while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will be part of the Corporate IT Systems team, providing support in day-to-day activities delivering high-quality results and meeting the service targets.
  • You will collaborate with the Corporate Systems Lead and other technology platforms teams to align on the corporate IT roadmap and strategy.
  • You will be driving the strategic compute initiatives within the technology platform, focusing on on-premises and cloud compute capabilities, storage, identity and security at systems meeting the delivery deadlines.
  • You will apply best practices, implement standardized and automated processes, and ensure effective provision of computing services, and related monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • You will provide technical support to troubleshoot and resolve computing services related issues. Act as an escalation point for complex technical challenges, driving timely resolutions and ensuring minimal impact to operations.
  • You will stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to the computing services provided. Evaluate and recommend the adoption of new tools, technologies, and methodologies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • You will be a part of a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team. Participate in the team knowledge sharing, take advances about learning opportunities, and impulse your skills in base of experimentation and creative problem-solving.
  • You will have the opportunity to participate in discussions and decision-making processes regarding the overall corporate IT architecture and direction.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or similar.
  • MS Systems related certifications like AZ104, AZ900 etc. are highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of Systems related technologies, including cloud and on premise systems deployment and configuration (MS Servers, Azure, Directory Services, Email Services, etc.), load balancing, services, as well as storage management, and backup policies management.
  • Strong experience on cloud systems based on Azure (IaaS,…).
  • Strong experience on AD, Exchange, O365, ADFS, GPO, and SSO systems.
  • Knowledge of system security, Storage, data backup / recovery.
  • Have experience in MS platforms (Win 7 / 8 / 10).
  • Familiar with Network topologies, TCP / IP protocols.
  • Diagnose and resolve problems quickly.
  • IT Operation framework and Agile methodology are highly desirable.
  • Interpersonal skills with high quality written and verbal communication.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
