Job Description

A vacancy for an Associate Test Engineer has arisen within Celestica Valencia. The successful applicant will join the Test Engineering team within the Engineering Department of the site, supporting the product testing activities in manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will be related to accept, transfer, install, improve and maintain manual and automatic test equipment and test programs used for product testing and design verification. Tasks performed include, but are not limited to, the following activities :

• Under supervision and with assistance develop, qualify, and install test applications into manufacturing operations.
• Optimize the Test process focusing on productivity improvements to cycle time and yield.
• Debug of solutions provided by external vendors or customers based on training supplied.
• Assist with test optimization based on feedback from customers and operations partners based on a solid understanding of the test coverage, diagnosability, reparability, firmware / diagnostics and user experience.
• Maintain with minimal supervision, the continuing performance of the Testers and participate in the OEE improvement plans, yield and test time optimization.
• Support test development activities of the test equipment and processes to ensure robust and high quality and reliability test solutions are deployed to manufacturing operations.
