Job Description

The IT Project Manager, reporting directly to the Business Relationship Manager (BRM), will be responsible for managing the progress of all projects of the IT department, serving as Scrum Master of the different software development teams that work following the Scrum methodology as well as having a standard Project Manager role for the rest of the areas (i.e., define project plan with tasks, milestones, risks, and other relevant information).

Responsibilities

  • Supported by the BRM and Software Development Managers, create & manage project plans and manage scope.
  • Define project milestones, deliverables, schedules.
  • Define tasks and allocate resources.
  • Track and monitor progress in the project management tools.
  • Track implementation / change management actions, define control actions and solve / forward team challenges.
  • Align project objectives with company goals, and make sure project team is clear on objectives.
  • Manage risk tracking process.
  • Manage all documentation and deliverables.
  • Manage progress of the entire project portfolio of the IT department.
  • Help the BRM in fostering partnership with customers / stakeholders / sponsors.

Competencies

  • Three or more years of project management experience in IT environments.
  • ITIL or ITSM certifications preferred. PMP certifications preferred.
  • Experience working in Agile methodologies in Scrum Master role.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Proactive, methodical, and organized.
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment. Strong team player.
  • Good communication skills, with customers, team, and stakeholders.
  • Customer-focused mindset.
  • Stress tolerant and experience in solving conflicts.
  • Proficiency with related software tools including but not limited to Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, JIRA, MS Teams.
  • This position offers a one-day hybrid work model. Please note that it is necessary to come to our office in Valencia.
