Descripción del trabajoProven working experience as Senior Accountant or Accounting Supervisor. Accounting, finance, and tax knowledge. Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and Spanish accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations. Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software, and databases. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to direct and supervise. Ability to work independently and as a team member with good interpersonal skills. High attention to detail and reconciliation ability, especially with intercompany balances. Respect strict deadlines and good time management. Analytical skills. Proactivity and orientation to results. Full designated area responsibility. Good learning capabilities. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance required. 2-3 years of experience as Senior Accountant or Accounting Supervisor. Good knowledge of Excel and experience with any ERP (Oracle-Netsuite, etc.).
The Senior Accountant position for Spain is responsible for all accounting operations of the Group in Spain as well as taxation and reporting.
Primary Responsibilities
- Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including month end and year end process, accounts payable, general ledger, fixed assets, treasury and cash management.
- Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and producing financial reports or statements.
- Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits.
- Review fiscal files and records to document transactions.
- Liaise with different departments to ensure proper approval for invoices.
- Responsible for all intercompany reconciliations.
- Managing a team of 3 accountants covering different entities.
