Regional Cooling Service Representative - Data Center Cooling

The Regional Cooling Service Representative is responsible for providing professional on-site services for Schneider Electric's cooling products, including commissioning, technical analysis, and issue resolution. This role primarily focuses on complex and critical projects involving troubleshooting and on-site support for Cooling Equipment & Systems (air cooling, air- or water-cooled chillers, CRAC / CRAH units).

Location & Commitments : Slovakia or your home country (offsite work); Locations : Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Italy, Spain; possibility to work remotely; extensive travel (70%) within Europe, mainly in Germany, France, BENELUX, Norden Europe, UK, and others. An EU passport is mandatory.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Perform Startup & Commissioning across all cooling equipment.
  • Evaluate installation quality and operational conditions.
  • Perform onsite adjustments for optimal operation.
  • Identify failure causes (quality, software, operation).
  • Collaborate with other service engineers and partners.
  • Document and handle defective parts appropriately.
  • Train customers on equipment operation.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.

Requirements :

  • Understanding of HVAC principles, especially cooling and electricity.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Compliance with safety policies.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and technical interpretation skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (70%).
  • University degree in Mechanical or Electrotechnical fields.
  • At least 5 years of experience in commissioning or field service repair of HVAC or cooling equipment.
  • Experience with cooling solutions, including chillers; experience with precision cooling is a plus.
  • Flexibility, reliability, customer focus, teamwork, leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and other relevant software.
