The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in backend development using strictly-typed languages such as Python and TypeScript . Experience with service-oriented architectures using FastAPI is also highly desirable. Additionally, you will have a solid understanding of data engineering practices and tools such as Snowflake , Apollo Spark , and Elasticsearch / OpenSearch .

You will lead backend development, design and implement service-oriented architectures, build and maintain production-grade ETL pipelines, and manage AWS infrastructure using CDK . Furthermore, you will develop and maintain Elasticsearch / OpenSearch implementations and oversee deployment automation, CI / CD pipeline development, and release management. You will also integrate and maintain APIs for embedding and visualization purposes using Tableau / Power BI .

In this role, you will work closely with a talented team of developers and be responsible for implementing comprehensive data migration strategies and designing responsive, cross-browser compatible interfaces using Material-UI and other libraries. You will also use modern testing frameworks to ensure code quality and monitor production environments with alerting and monitoring tools.
