The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for driving the growth of sales within their assigned region. This role involves managing a team of sales professionals, developing regional sales strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize revenue and market penetration. The Regional Sales Director will play a critical role in expanding the company’s presence, achieving sales targets, and fostering long-term relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Identify market opportunities and lead efforts to drive product and service adoption across the region.
Monitor and analyze regional sales performance and adjust strategies as necessary.
Set clear sales targets and expectations for team members.
Provide coaching and training to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners in the region.
Negotiate and close large-scale contracts.
Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Monitor regional market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
Identify potential threats and opportunities in the market.
Gather customer feedback to refine product offerings and service levels.
Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment in messaging, product offerings, and customer support.
Coordinate with other regional directors to share best practices and align on company-wide goals.
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews for senior management.
Track regional performance metrics, including sales revenue, pipeline activity, and team performance.
Qualifications & Skills :
Proven experience as a Sales Director, Regional Sales Manager, or similar role.
A minimum of 7 years in sales management, preferably in healthcare.
Experience in leading and developing sales teams.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinking with the ability to execute and drive results.
Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
Data-driven mindset with proficiency in sales analytics tools.
Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
