Car Sales Specialist Job Description

The role of a Car Sales Specialist involves handling the sale of young used cars to official dealers, traders, and wholesalers. Key responsibilities include covering the sales process from start to finish, managing customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Risk Fleet sales by analyzing market trends and competitor activity.
  • Search for new opportunities to expand the customer base and increase sales revenue.
  • Agree on sales terms and conditions with customers.
  • Manage and find new customers from multiple countries.
  • Execute used car sales including sending offers, damage appraisal, and invoicing.
  • Complaint management to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with buyers to foster a loyal customer base.
  • Closed cooperation with other team members to achieve shared goals.
  • Support the Car Sales Manager in achieving monthly sales and profit targets.
  • Collaborate with Fleet Acquisition on new offers valuation and analysis.

Qualifications :

  • Educational Background : Degree (BA or MBA) in Business Administration or similar field.
  • Professional Experience : 4-7 years of experience in the used cars market, manufacturers, leasing, rent-a-car companies, or dealership.
  • Knowledge :
  • Indispensable experience in selling used vehicles.
  • Desirable previous experience in multinational environments.
  • High level of English spoken and written - with other languages desirable as French.
  • Excellent knowledge of the new and / or used car market understanding market trends, sales channels, and segmentation.
  • Ability to identify immediate concerns and provide quick and effective responses.
