THE ROLE

The Junior Accountant will assist the Finance Manager Hospitality in establishing Legends’ Hospitality business in Iberia and play a key role in running day‑to‑day accounting activities. The role requires someone with the ability to work independently through routine accounting tasks and processes. A significant focus will be on Accounts Payable, daily sales‑to‑cash reconciliations, bank reconciliations and general ledger accounting. This is an opportunity to be an integral part of the team tasked to run back‑office finance operations for the company’s new hospitality business in Iberia.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Accounts Payable (e.g. supplier invoice accounting, invoice vs purchase order matching, payment schedules).
• Daily reconciliation of sales and cash & credit card transactions as well as bank reconciliations.
• Month‑end procedures (incl. operational cost, sales recognition).
• General Ledger Accounting, including Balance Sheet accounts.
• Assist the Finance Manager in developing and coordinating accounting processes.
• Build solid working relationships with local internal business partners (e.g. procurement, marketing, operations).
• Assistance with annual audit process.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
