About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist (Forecasting) to join our team and drive impactful insights through advanced forecasting models. In this role, you will develop and implement predictive models to support budgeting and advertiser spend predictions, analyze large datasets to identify trends, and optimize forecasting algorithms. You will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver actionable, data-driven strategies that enhance decision-making across the organization.

What is this role like?

We’re looking for a sharp and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our growing team at Topsort! As a Senior Data Scientist, you’ll collaborate with product and engineering teams to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and refine algorithms that drive our platform forward.

  • Develop and implement machine learning models for prediction of user behavior.
  • Develop and implement budget forecasting models. Analyze large datasets to identify trends and optimize forecasting algorithms.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver data-driven insights.

What (we think) you need to be successful - we’re open to not checking all the boxes and be proven wrong by outlier candidates as well!

  • Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in data science, specifically in forecasting.
  • Proficiency in Python and data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn).
  • Strong expertise in time-series forecasting, regression analysis, and machine learning.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Matplotlib, Seaborn).
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP).
  • Experience in ad tech or related industries; familiarity with financial modeling and budget optimization techniques.
  • Nice to have : AI Forecasting experience.
