Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies for optimizing the supply chain.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency within logistics processes.
  • Set short-term and long-term objectives and goals for the department.
  • Plan and oversee transportation routes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Negotiate with transportation providers and ensure adherence to contract terms.
  • Guarantee punctual product delivery to customers.
  • Deploy technologies and information systems to enhance logistics management.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure efficiency.
  • Manage continuous improvement projects to optimize logistics processes.
  • Oversee supplier relationships to ensure consistent supply of materials and services.
  • Resolve logistical challenges and issues promptly and effectively.
  • Implement and supervise safety and quality measures in logistics operations.

Requirements

  • Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or related fields.
  • Master’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is desirable.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management roles.
  • Valuable experience in the industrial sector.
  • English at negotiation level is required. French is a plus.
  • Ability to make strategic decisions and solve complex problems.
  • Negotiation and effective communication skills.
  • Results oriented and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to analyze data and use analysis tools.
