GNSS Navigation Engineer – Senior-Level

We’re working with a major player in the European space sector, supporting two high-profile space missions launching in the next 2 years. They are seeking an experienced GNSS Software Engineer to join on a long-term freelance basis and help drive forward their navigation systems. You would be lead over team members in developing real-time software application for embedded systems as well as verification and validation procedures for a GNSS receiver. This role focuses on the acquisition and tracking involved in GNSS receivers.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and integrate GNSS software for space-based receivers.
• Implement and optimize navigation algorithms on SoC platforms
• Provide domain-level guidance to software teams and support junior engineers.
• Ensure system readiness for upcoming flight missions.
• Expertise in signal acquisition (serial search, parallel code phase, frequency domain)
• Skilled in tracking loop design (DLL, PLL, FLL) for accurate synchronization
