Location : Augsburg (Germany) or Barcelona (Spain) or Paris (France)

Major Accountabilities :

  • Define the European Medical Strategy for selected Products / TAs, and support BD&L and Portfolio with medical expertise and commercial assessments to secure assets.
  • Leading the cross-countries medical team for Biologics.
  • Closely collaborate with Market Access and Marketing to bring initiatives to life. Actively support digital transformation.
  • Support countries to maximize the disease / treatment awareness for the Biologics by assessing unmet needs and providing them with support on the implementation.
  • Ensure understanding of treatment algorithms and Standards of Care.
  • Drive patient and HCPs understanding.
  • Ensure peer-to-peer leadership and close collaboration with country organizations.

Requirements :

  • A medical background and degree is required.
  • Minimum 6-8 years specialty (biologics) experience in Medical Affairs.
  • Strong KOL knowledge.
  • Experience with digital.
  • Local country experience required.
  • Prior launch support experience required.
  • Prior line leadership preferable.
  • Previous experience in European role is desirable.
  • Disease area experience is required for Rheumatology & Oncology, preferably with Biologics.
  • Fluent English is required and fluency in another international language is beneficial.
  • Excellent scientific acumen, external focus, strong communication, analytical and management skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functionally and with country organizations.
