At HAYS, a British multinational company that offers recruitment and human resources services in 33 countries worldwide and is listed on the London Stock Exchange, we are currently looking for 2 Cloud Data Engineers to collaborate remotely with international clients based in Málaga and Barcelona, Spain.

What are the requirements for these positions?

4+ years of experience in data engineering
Experience with Azure
Experience with PySpark and Databricks in an Azure environment
Python programming skills
Strong verbal and written skills in English

Nice to have :

Experience with Snowflake

Azure / Databricks certification (preferred)

Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for 4+ years

Programming experience in Python and Java, including design, unit testing (Pytest, JUnit)

Experience with Terraform

Experience with version control (GIT), Kafka or PubSub, Docker

Experience with Apache Beam and Dataflow

Knowledge of clean code principles

Main tasks include :

Maintaining and extending customer data platforms based on GCP services (e.g., Dataflow, Cloud Functions)

Developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines using GCP

Working with Python and Terraform for platform development

Utilizing SQL technologies like Google BigQuery or Snowflake and designing dimensional data models for analytics and reporting

Designing, programming, unit testing, quality assurance, and documentation

Collaborating in an agile team with members in other countries, using English as the team language

Developing and maintaining data pipelines with Microsoft Azure services, leveraging PySpark, Python, and Databricks

Building and deploying CI / CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for automation and seamless integration

Designing data models using industry-standard tools such as ER / Studio, ERwin, Oracle Data Modeling, or Toad Data Modeling
