About the Role
The Procurement Specialist will support the Global Procurement Europe team on selected packaging categories and brands from a portfolio. He / She will support Procurement Managers on selected regional and local packaging categories for Italy and Spain. Support in defining the strategy, developing it, and implementing it (to maximize savings, speed to market, and NWC).
Main Responsibilities :
- Grant speed to market and NPDs on time launches.
- Responsible for Procurement Master Data. Responsible for Procurement Master Data (Vendor setup, RFP info compilation, Inforecord creation and maintenance, Monitoring MSM data vs IR, Price list update, Feedstock trackers, etc)
- Support initiatives of Packaging materials for Spain and Italy
- Collaboration on categories managed by the Global Team
- Assignment of lead suppliers for NPD and main procurement point of contact for NPDs in Spain and / or Italy
- Recommend award of business with detailed justification
- Outline appropriate implementation plans
- Support managers on the implementation of approved strategies and insourcing initiatives
- Support team on substantial savings and working capital improvements each year, according to the company's targets
- Support delivery of corporate objectives such as growth agenda by development and delivery of appropriate initiatives (for example, supplier lead-time reduction and materials agreements, payment terms improvements, make vs. buy analysis, and employ cost mitigation tactics).
- Uphold the company’s principles, business controls, ethics, policies and procedures, and professional standards,
- Collaborate with Global cross-functional teams to deliver cost and service improvements
- Establish relevant internal and external communication to ensure effective management of global initiatives and processes
- Support stakeholders on Sustainability / Circular Economy Revlon’s journey to build a proper sourcing strategy to address Sustainable Development Goals.
Qualifications
BA or Engineering degree required.Spanish and English proficiency. Italian appreciated.1-3 years of Professional Procurement experience. Nice to have : Global procurement experience.
