Data Engineer

At ASTEK Iberia , we are looking for an Data Engineer , to join our energie-sector partner in Madrid.

Main responsibilities :

Design, build, and maintain ETL / ELT data pipelines ensuring efficient data flow and transformation.

Implement and manage automation frameworks for data ingestion, transformation, and reporting.

Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).

Define and apply data governance and GDPR compliance standards (lineage, documentation, security).

Monitor and optimize pipeline performance and data processes.

Collaborate in a cross-functional, agile environment with data, business, and IT teams.

Who are you?

3–4+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles.

Proven experience with ETL / ELT processes and data pipeline orchestration .

Strong proficiency in Python and SQL (expert level).

Hands-on experience with Docker , Kubernetes , and CI / CD automation tools .

Solid understanding of data governance, security, and GDPR compliance .

Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset; proactive and collaborative approach.

Fluent in English (international working environment).
