Company Description : Located in Torremolinos, on the Costa Del Sol, Spain, Gridlines Engineering S.L. is a provider of engineering and planning services for the energy transmission sector.

We specialize in overhead transmission lines and cable projects. Our services range from Technical Project Management, Engineering, Planning, and Visualizations to Technical Drafting. Our goal is to free up resources, reduce risk and costs, and increase flexibility for our clients to take on new projects.

Role Description : In the role as a Planning Engineer, you will work together with our team of people from different sectors on various projects in the Energy Transmission sector. Together with your team, you will find a way to realize transmission line projects in different countries for different clients with diverse needs. The projects are related to the sector from 110-kV up to 600 kV in AC and DC Projects. You will be involved in feasibility studies, line design, execution planning, and customer consulting.

Qualifications :

  • Experience in line projects like Gas, Water, Railroads, Streets, etc.
  • 3D thinking / understanding
  • General understanding of coordinate systems
  • Experience in Transmission Planning is a plus
  • Electrical knowledge in Overhead Transmission Line or Cable Projects is a plus
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Surveying, or related fields
  • Good communication skills in English required.

Tool Skills :

  • AutoCAD (good working experience needed)
  • GIS is a plus
  • PLS-CADD is a plus
  • MS Project (is a plus)
  • MS Teams
