Job Description
Key Responsibilities :
Lead and manage a local team of +40 professionals across 23 markets, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Leadership Role : Be an integral part of Glovo’s leadership team, collaborating closely with the CEO and the Management team.
Legal Strategy : Lead the legal strategy across various domains including Corporate, Labor & Employment, Privacy, Commercial and Regulatory Law as well as GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance).
Labour Strategy : lead the Labour strategy and compliance of the group and across all markets.
Risk Management : Evaluate business model risks and implement appropriate procedures to mitigate them, balancing business needs.
Corporate governance and Regulatory Compliance : Assist the operations department in adapting the business model to comply with internal group policies and local regulations.
Strategic Oversight : Take a strategic and long-term view of risk and compliance, ensuring awareness of best practices among Glovo employees.
Manage relationships, agreements, and negotiations with the company's Works Councils.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL BRING :
At least 15 years of working experience as in-house legal counsel or in a reputed law firm.
Law Bachelor Degree, with a Master in Business Law preferable (at least one university degree from a reputable Spanish university would be considered a plus, but is not a must).
Excellent English and proficient in Spanish (preferably). Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
A 360º proven expertise / knowledge of corporate governance, commercial and antitrust, labour law and compliance.
Expertise in analysis and implementation of a legal strategy supporting the business needs.
Team player with excellent leadership and people management skills. Proven ability to work and lead cross-functional teams in a multinational context.
Proven experience working with the senior management

Excellent communication and presentation skills.
