Department : Miller Knoll Contract - Southern Europe

Location : Barcelona

Job Summary : To meet and exceed the financial and activity goals as set individually by Miller Knoll. This includes dealer and client-focused activities, lead generation, challenger selling, and frequent visits to dealers, end clients, and A&D. The role involves developing interest and creating buying potential for Miller Knoll products, in partnership with dealers and independently, involving and coordinating resources against sales opportunities, and owning the opportunity until the point of order. Providing accurate forecasting and market information is also required.

Specific Responsibilities :

  • Achieve sales goals by building strong relationships with designated dealers, providing problem-solving solutions, and identifying new opportunities in the local market.
  • Act as the primary commercial contact with dealers at all levels.
  • Proactively target relevant clients and A&D firms in the area, managing the process for product applications, specials, mock-ups, and project-specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with business development teams to identify and work on new project opportunities.
  • Provide technical and specification support to dealers when needed.
  • Promote MillerKnoll products and services consistently to meet and exceed volume targets.
  • Meet activity goals, including the number of meetings with dealers, A&D, and clients.
  • Ensure high-quality presentations, both verbal and written, including RFIs, RFPs, and tenders.
  • Develop product and program knowledge to articulate MillerKnoll's differentiators effectively.
  • Build relationships with key influencers in the furniture market, including architects and designers, to promote our brands and activities.
  • Provide timely reports to the Regional Manager and maintain accurate Salesforce records for all opportunities.

Company Requirements : Ensure safety and compliance with relevant regulations, support quality controls, and adhere to internal processes.

Job Holder Requirements : Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, selling skills, proficiency in English, effective communication, autonomy, teamwork, flexibility for travel (up to 50%), numeracy, and comfort with remote work and cross-functional collaboration.

Characteristics : Methodical, hardworking, energetic, diplomatic, honest, and with high integrity.

Education and Experience : Minimum A-level or higher education, proven track record in new business generation for at least 2 years, and a valid driving license (max 6 points).
