Job Summary

Establish and monitor WRM Test Measurement & Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) and PMEL programs using the Maintenance Control Plan (MCP) Assure equipment calibration and Tool Accountability System (TAS) system. Follow AFI 21101 guidance as applicable. Monitor Precision Accounting System (PASS). Incorporate TMDE management and use in the MCP for equipment requiring calibration. Obtain ACO or PM approval prior to sending GFE TMDE to an approved vendor to calibrate equipment that is beyond AF Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) or the AF Primary Standards Laboratory capabilities. Prepare and ship TMDE / PMEL equipment to corresponding TMDE / PMEL Lab for calibration. Monitor and control equipment to preclude any forms of fraud waste & abuse. Provide customer service to department company and government personnel. Perform all other additional duties as assigned by supervision. Strictly adheres to US Air Force Technical Orders Air Force Instructions (AFI) and Safety Directives. Provide customer service assistance in the AGE Department. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision. Drive vehicles as needed to support the AGE function.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform as WRM TMDE / PMEL Tool Monitor.
• Establish WRM TMDE / PMEL Tool section and calibration schedule.
• Incorporate TMDE oversight in the Maintenance Control Plan for equipment requiring calibration.
• Obtain ACO or PM approval prior to sending GFE TMDE to an approved vendor.
• Assure TMDE / PMEL equipment calibration is rotated and available when needed.
• Order replacement TMDE / PMEL items as required and process for calibration.
• Material & Equipment directly used : Technical orders electronic publications (Etool) computers HAZMAT (proper storing handling & disposal) composite tools (general hand tools) operate equipment tugs and vehicles as needed.
• Other duties assigned.
