weVLC is an ambitious international startup based in Valencia, Spain. We are on a mission to become the leading living concept and primary reference for real estate investments in Valencia. We offer a unique living experience, revolutionizing the housing and co-living landscape for international talents. With a portfolio of over 20 apartments in the city, we cater to young professionals, expats, and digital nomads, providing co-living and investment solutions. For the next phase, we're looking for a very motivated Finance Controller to join our team and make an impact. This role is for an ambitious and motivated international talent that is up for an adventure.

What you do :

The Finance Controller will play a critical role in managing the financial operations of weVLC's diverse real estate portfolio. Reporting to the CEO, the Finance Controller will oversee budgeting, financial analysis, investor relations, and regulatory compliance, with a particular focus on real estate investments. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in finance and control or audit, experience in real estate, and a proactive approach to driving financial performance.

You :

• Oversee budgeting and financial planning processes for multiple entities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and investor expectations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and investor updates.
• Work closely with the accountancy firm to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices, including tax planning and audit preparation.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making on real estate acquisitions, renovations, and asset management strategies.
• Develop and implement efficient processes and controls for invoice management, expense tracking, and financial administration.
• Provide support in developing and maintaining financial models and projections for real estate investments, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
• Build and maintain relationships with investors and stakeholders, providing transparent and proactive communication on financial performance and investment opportunities.
