Qilimanjaro is looking for a Business Development and Presales Specialist with cross-functional and client-facing experience to support the growth of our presence in the quantum computing market. The ideal candidate is confident engaging with both technical experts and business decision-makers, and comfortable working across areas such as innovation, strategy, and engineering. The role involves preparing tailored proposals, responding to tenders and grant opportunities, and supporting client and partner relationships. Although prior experience in the quantum computing sector is not required, formal education or training in quantum physics, especially with a focus on quantum technologies, will be highly valued. These concepts are foundational to Qilimanjaro’s offerings and are often essential for clearly explaining and promoting our solutions in conversations with partners, institutions, and clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify, evaluate, and support business development opportunities in both the public and private sectors.
- Serve as a liaison between the sales team, technical teams, and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit responses to RFPs, RFIs, public tenders, and national / international grant calls (e.g., Horizon Europe, CDTI).
- Create customized proposals and technical documentation aligned with client needs and Qilimanjaro's portfolio.
- Participate in technical sales meetings, translating customer needs into technical requirements while ensuring alignment across innovation, marketing, product, and engineering.
- Collaborate with marketing and innovation teams to shape messaging and positioning.
- Work closely with product and technical teams to support co-design of solutions.
- Represent Qilimanjaro in client meetings, consortium discussions, and institutional events.
- Track and manage pipeline documentation and CRM records.
- Stay informed about the quantum technology landscape and emerging trends.
