Manage the industrialization of new models in production, achieving the goals in terms of quality, productivity, and cost. Monitor quality and productivity performance of the projects in production. Analyze the defects in the plant and in the field, applying corrective measures to reduce the negative impact on serial production and users.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS

• Analyze the productivity of newly launched products and define any actions needed regarding the product or process to ensure a correct launch of the product in terms of quality, productivity, and cost.
• Provide supervisor with alternative technical solutions to a problem for decision-making.
• Get guidelines to control the project from supervisor and apply them.
• Provide the documentation and the technical know-how needed to Test Engineering for correct inspection and adjustment of the product.
• Get information from the Quality department about all defects that occur in the production process.
• Get information from Jigs Engineering department about adjustment data, inspection, and production requirements.
• Define and maintain the technical requirements to carry out manufacturing to the proper standards in terms of quality and achieve expected productivity.
• Investigate the rejects from Manufacturing, identifying whether it is a product issue or a manufacturing process / equipment issue.
• Investigate the rejects from the market, providing the proper data to Quality to deal with the customer and to other departments to put the proper corrective actions in place.
• Analyze any product issues (HW / SW) that impact manufacturing and notify Development to monitor and apply the proper corrective actions.
• Train repair technicians and supply the proper tools / procedures.
• Propose and promote HW / SW modifications to improve productivity.
• Evaluate changes in product (SW / HW) and impact on process / product.
• Be responsible technically for the PP and first lots.
• Participate in project follow-up meetings with all involved areas / departments.
• Prepare samples.
• Review the technical content of reworks.
• Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.
• Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting, and improving the OSHE and Quality department.

Academic background : Professional training

Languages : Advanced in English (written & spoken)

Experience : Not required

Travel : Willing to travel

OTHER SPECIFICATIONS
