YOUR CHALLENGE

Collaborate from 5 to 8 people SRE team providing support to data & analytics team-owned services and tools running responsively, reliably and securely, including protection against outages, data loss or breaches, and accommodation and implementation of ownership and accountability paradigm : you build it you run it

Partner with engineering teams at Seedtag to set direction and build platforms enabling transformative changes to Seedtag customer experience while ensuring appropriate operational review and support along the way

Ensure the responsiveness, reliability, and security of Seedtag's owned services and tools, protecting against outages, data loss, and breaches

Collaborate with engineering teams at Seedtag to set direction and build platforms that enhance customer experience, while providing necessary operational support

YOU WILL SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE IF

Technical Experience : Minimum of 3 years of experience in SRE / DevOps / Data Platform / Cloud Engineering roles, preferably in large-scale, high-traffic product companies. This experience should prove effective technical proficiency and the ability to engage in technical conversations with the team

People-Centric Approach : Focus on understanding stakeholders' problems and providing the best way to solve team

Agile Methodologies : Experience working with agile development methodologies like Kanban or Scrum, promoting transparency and collaboration within the team

Planning and Execution : Strong skills in roadmap planning, execution, and measuring engineering excellence through key metrics and KPIs

Priority Management : Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and concurrent projects effectively

Cloud Services : Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud services, including technologies like Terraform and Ansible, for designing and managing scalable infrastructures

Data-specific ecosystem : Proficiency in the most common tools operated within the data team to provide support : Apache Druid, Trino, Airflow, Data lakes…

Incident Management and On-call Responsibilities : Previous experience in incident management and on-call responsibilities is needed. The candidate must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills under pressure and quick responsiveness to critical situations

Knowledge in Infrastructure as Code Delivery : Familiarity with delivering infrastructure as code (IaC) and experience in running containers and Kubernetes in production is expected. This knowledge is essential for automating and standardizing the deployment of applications and services in scalable and reliable environments

Desire to Learn : A strong willingness to learn and keep adapting the skillset ent to new technologies and methodologies as they emerge according to the needs
