Your Role & Responsibilities

• Leading and managing Supplier Quality of BU4 global prior SOP (SQA-D)
• Ensure release of supplied purchase parts (quality and quantity) according to specification by coordination of SQA tasks as defined in SQA RASIC. (APQP for purchased parts and supplier development)"
• Planning and assuring quality of purchased parts applying quality methods and tools (. FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC,
• Interface to Project Purchasing, Commodity Purchasing, Development, Plants and other preventive BU4 departments.
• Coordinate by segment BU4 global SQA-D & SQA-P teams to ensure Supplier Quality performance meeting all customer expectations and excellence (external and internal customers, plants).
• Represent SQA in sourcing decisions for BU4 SQA-D / -P
• Plan, Perform and Monitor supplier process audits according VDA 6.3 and / or supplier assessments - define development actions (. Audits, PPAP, - checking of corrective action effectiveness for BU4 SQA-D / -P
• First and second level escalation management with suppliers before and after SOP.
• Problem solving tracking for escalation level 2 and higher according to Escalation guideline.
• Active contribution in teams to develop supplier strategies (Teamwork with purchasing, project teams, plants, and central functions and for VA / VE activities).
• Active contribution in teams to develop quality strategies for supplied parts (Teamwork with purchasing, project teams, plants, and central functions and for VA / VE activities)
• Preparation, follow-up and wrap up of quality agreements with suppliers.
• Supplier visits / meetings (including domestic and international travel as required)
• Internal and external reporting including related activities.
• Collaboration in projects and documentation & presentation of results
