The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Planner, based at our Regional Customer Centre in Plymouth. Where you’ll play a crucial part of our logistics delivery team. Onsite you’ll be responsible for organising deliveries of aggregates across the Devon & Cornwall region. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment where deliveries can be scheduled for the same or next day. You’ll also have to take into account potential breakdowns of vehicles or issues with the plant, so you’ll need to make changes to your schedule and keep our teams updated with new ETA’s. You’ll help build working relationships with hauliers and other internal stakeholders along with assisting in the negotiation of haulage rates.

Who you are

You’ll be an organised person with experience working in a Logistics Planning team. You’ll have a good geographical knowledge of the area and be computer literate.
