Company Overview :

Anitox partners with the worlds leading feed ingredient poultry swine and farmed fish producers enabling them to make safer food more efficiently through the development of clean feed technologies. Today our class leading portfolio is set to grow following acquisition by Iluma Alliance in 2024. Were focused on innovative chemical and biological solutions to improve livestock performance control Salmonella Clostridia and a host of viruses which impact animal welfare productivity and human food security and drive milling efficiency.

To accelerate our business growth in Southern Europe Anitox is seeking to appoint a Business Development Manager.

Position Overview :

Responsible for generating profitable revenue by sourcing new customers and accounts.

This is a position for a sales professional who is hungry for achieving new business growth with responsibility for building a territory with a proven service / product. As a top performer you will have competitive basic and uncapped commission.

Key Accountabilities :

  • Business Development : Identify target markets and penetrate these markets to solicit business. An individual with a hunter mentality and large appetite for success. Uses social events to earn business and identifies potential marketing events.
  • Educating the Market : Introducing the new service / product to prospective clients. Making sure decision makers understand the benefits of the service and how it compares to other services.
  • Sales Accountability : Ensure all selling price changes effected are updated and implemented as and when required on budgeted volumes so that selling prices & net contribution is achieved.
  • Able to fully utilize SFDC to ensure all sales activity is recorded and sales database is kept updated.
  • Company Image : While focused on achieving sales and revenue goals always portraying the company in a positive light.

Qualifications / Experience :

  • Minimum 4 years proven sales experience.
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Animal Nutrition / Poultry Science or related discipline.
  • Ability to speak Spanish and English. Additional European languages would be an advantage.
  • Communicates effectively both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Excellent local market knowledge of the animal feed and poultry / swine industry.
  • Holds a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
  • Alignment with Anitox core values of Drive Customer Focus Innovation Education Integrity & Respect.
  • Hours of Work :

    Working hours are standard Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and will be modified to meet the expectations of sales goals (customer hours after-hours work as required).

    Travel :

    This position requires travel up to 50% with frequent nights away from home.
