The Role

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Associate Software Developer who is committed to their work and passionate about progressing their career in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly flexible environment. You will work in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of market-leading products and web applications in the Automotive, IoT, and Enterprise business segments. You will be using frameworks, tools, and principles within high-performance teams who are driven and passionate about what they do and constantly seek to improve themselves and their colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Work as a full-stack developer to collaborate in the design and development of a new cloud-based Platform as a Service solution to satisfy business requirements in the Automotive, IoT, and Enterprise segments.
• Write code within established standards, guidelines, and best practices to efficiently implement new systems and enhance or maintain existing systems to high-quality standards.
• Liaise with product owners and internal stakeholders to gather and address technical and design requirements, providing solutions for new products.
• Document and record tasks and activities using JIRA or other support tools used by the company.
• Possess 1-2 years of relevant professional experience working on enterprise-level systems as either a frontend or backend developer.
• Understand object-oriented design and related concepts.
• Have experience developing software solutions using C# and .NET.
• Have a good understanding of how the web works, including technologies like HTTP, REST, SOAP, and asynchronous processing.
• Experience using Git for source control.
• Work well both as part of a team and independently.
• Show initiative and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Experience building and developing with cloud-based architecture, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Experience using APM and logging tools such as New Relic or DataDog to monitor and improve system performance.
• Be familiar with software development practices like agile methodologies, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and test-driven development.
• Experience using Azure DevOps to create build pipelines.
• Previous exposure to message-based architectures.
