WeCare Medical Specialty Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Network Engineer to join our growing IT team. The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. This is a fully remote position offering a flexible work environment.
Responsibilities :
Design, implement, and maintain local and wide area networks (LAN / WAN), including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Implement and maintain network security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless integration of network systems with other IT infrastructure.
Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and best practices.
Provide technical support to end-users on network-related issues.
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer.
Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols).
Hands-on experience with network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
Knowledge of network security best practices.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and remotely.
Preferred Qualifications :
Relevant certifications.
Experience in a healthcare environment.
Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
