DESCRIPTION :

Prime Video is a premium streaming service offering a vast collection of TV shows and movies, with features like Originals, Exclusive content, live sports events, and the ability to subscribe to add-on channels or rent / buy movies and TV box sets. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform tasks related to the publishing, assessment, and enhancement of the quality of content in the Amazon Prime Video catalogue, utilizing expert knowledge of the Norwegian language. The role requires making high-judgment decisions following standard operating procedures. Please note, this is a Madrid office-based role.

Key job responsibilities

Apply knowledge of Norwegian language to execute small-scale projects or components of larger projects to improve processes, using relevant tools or reporting to meet quality metrics.
Manage escalations on routine or predefined tasks.
Create or fix media assets such as subtitles, metadata, or artwork with high quality.

About the team

Along with teams in Chennai, India, and San Jose, Costa Rica, the Prime Video Global Operations team collaborates with various stakeholders across Prime Video to oversee asset deliveries, system processing, content publishing, and ensuring a high-quality, defect-free customer experience. The DigiFlex Operations organization plays a crucial role in ensuring the content powering our global entertainment platform is complete and accurate.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :

Fluency in Norwegian with understanding of region-specific jargon / colloquialism (C1 level).

Fluency in English, both verbal and written.

Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Educational background in foreign languages, translation studies, or linguistics, or 1-2 years of experience in localization or subtitling.

Ability to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Critical thinking skills and the ability to work with creative content.

Understanding of digital media and the digital video supply chain.

Experience in the post-production or studios industry related to content publishing or quality management.
