Job Description
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional service and creating amazing drink experiences for guests? We’re looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Barman / Food & Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic team. If you have experience in bar service, cocktail making, and providing outstanding customer service in a hotel environment, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities :
- Bar Service : Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic and signature cocktails, following hotel standards.
- Cross-Department Flexibility : Provide support in other areas of the Food and Beverage Department as needed, including assisting with restaurant service, room service, or banquet events, ensuring overall team efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Customer Interaction : Greet and assist guests with beverage orders, making recommendations when needed, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Cash Handling : Accurately process payments, cash-ups, at the end of each shift.
- Bar Maintenance : Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring stock levels are replenished and all equipment is properly cleaned.
- Event Support : Assist with bar setup and breakdown for events, conferences, or private functions.
- Teamwork : Collaborate with the rest of the food and beverage team to ensure smooth service and a positive guest experience.
- Health & Safety : Ensure all food and beverage safety and hygiene protocols are adhered to.
Qualifications
Experience : Minimum 1 year of bar service experience, including cocktail making in a hotel, bar, or similar hospitality setting.
Cocktail Expertise : Solid knowledge of cocktail recipes and the ability to craft both classic and creative drinks.
Customer Service Skills : Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for providing an exceptional guest experience.
Cash Handling : Experience with cash register systems, payment processing, and cash-up procedures.
Team Player : Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude.
Flexibility : Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Health & Safety : Familiarity with food safety, alcohol regulations, and hygiene standards.
Additional Skills : Knowledge of wine and food pairings, as well as basic food service, is a plus.
